The characters are hybrids - depicting the truth of Christianity beyond the afflicted obscurity of commercial religious kitsch. Given the nature of modern Christian iconography as a market of merchandise, the multiple existences that occur as a result of the printmaking process bridges the gap between fine art, age-old technique and commercialism.
Kevin Phillips is a BFA double major in Film and Photography at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He is a member of the film production company, The Dandy Dwarves, whose recent film The World Outside featured in the Hatch Film Festival and the Savannah Film Festival. Shelli Lane is a BFA major in Fibers at the Savannah College of Art and Design and has exhibited her work in Savannah and Atlanta. She is also an actress and is a member of the film production company, The Dandy Dwarves.
